Together We Stand
Throughout the centuries since Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, Christians have flourished and grown in number despite many persecutions throughout the world. Christ sent out his apostles to all the world to establish his church against which the gates of hell would not prevail. Matthew 16:18 And from Heaven, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to fortify and regenerate hearts, as Jesus promised he would. “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26
The Kilkenny Christian Assembly follows in this tradition, looking only to God’s Word in the Bible as our source of knowledge, inspiration, and prayer in our journey back home to the Father.
Believe In Him
We are a community of believers in the Bible, in all that it teaches, and in the central person of Jesus Christ. We support each other’s journey in the faith so we all grow strong as individual persons and also as a Community.
We believe we are not saved by good works Ephesians 2:8-9, but rather solely by the work of the Son of God and the Holy Spirit and therefore any good works merely point to our unity with God. We believe the bible teaches that believers earn rewards in Heaven for good works done on earth AFTER SALVATION Ephesians 2:10. Therefore by their fruits, you will know them Matthew 7:20.
